Sketchbook NSFW - Nudity (Re)drawing conclusions :) May,2012

So i went to art school and probably for sensible job-shaped reasons i came out a graphic designer. Which i enjoy, don't get me wrong. But for some reason, i can't shake this feeling that drawing is rather important and i haven't been doing enough of it - in fact, i'm rather niggled by it :S ...So stop ****whinging and draw, no? But then i thinks to myself - if i was passionate enough to be drawing all the time, i'd already be doing it rite? So i let myself get distracted with life-in-general again, but the fact i'm not drawing still bothers me and hello:D we're back to square one:(

Lesson (1): don't think logically because there is a logical answer for anything:P

While i don't know much about concept art, i do like the fact that people here are talking about drawing. That's pretty rare. i mean getting more of a reaction than 'that's nice' ...what are you supposed to do with 'nice' anyway? ...you hear that enough times and you start to question why you bother. And, i don't mean getting praise (that's even worse), i mean talking about a drawing critically, philosophically, humorously...ANY-thing. And not just in words - drawing is a visual conversation in itself. That's why it's worth bothering about - and p'raps that's why my sporadic drawing attempts have always fizzled out...lack of dialog :(

Oh well...before i get stuck in to second helping of waffles - less thinking with words and more thinking with a pencil - got plenty of catching up to do :P
