Sketchbook Artist Group in Orlando, FL June,2012

Hey all,

I graduated from Full Sail back in 06, and have stuck around the area, now working in military sim, as well as trying to start my own company. Simulation is not an industry where I get a lot of creative projects, and that tends to make me moody, lol. For that reason I have been thinking of starting a small artist group and wanted to get a general feel on the interest level there is for it. While it's quite warm out these days, I have a great backyard space that I recently renovated, and have shaded seating for at least 6 people (picture attached). Plenty of flowers, and lizards, and room for people to take turns posing for others to draw. I also create pottery, so I have plenty of neat things to use for still life sets as well. And figured we could also meet over in the winter park areas since the main street there as well as the parks tend to have a lot of people to draw. I think it would just be a great opportunity to grow as an artist and meet some neat people in the area.

As of right now this is not a for sure thing, this is just seeing if there is enough interest to make it worth while.

Thanks, and any input/ideas to make the group better would be great, this is my first time starting something like this.
