Twenty-something graphic designer here looking for a mentor or guidance consultant, basic drawing and on. Quick learner and good listener. I'm more or less the product of a long lineage of printers and typesetters, and while layout and composition lent itself freely to my abilities, putting pencil to paper has always been a source of frustration, impatience, and difficulty for me.
I'm looking for someone to really push me.
I'm currently working with Andrew Loomis' Fun with a Pencil, and while the first 12 pages are fun, I always get this feeling like I'm not understanding the whole lesson, and often times I'm not sure when to move on to the next chunk.
I'd really prefer to meet for chatting/video conferencing once a week, but forum communication will suffice, in a pinch.
Feel free to ask me any questions!
